Every Child Deserves a Chance to Ride
Help Build More Than Bikes: Volunteers Needed!
Do you enjoy tinkering, fixing things, or working with your hands? If so, we have a wonderful opportunity for you to make a difference in the life of a child.
Through the generosity of Trips for Kids Charlotte, Myers Park Covenant Church will receive up to 20 children's bicycles to assemble and gift to deserving students at Pinewood Elementary through our MOJO ministry partnership. Before these bikes can bring joy to their new owners, we need a team of volunteer "amateur mechanics" and bike enthusiasts to help put them together.
You don't need to be a professional bicycle technician. If you're handy with tools, enjoy solving mechanical puzzles, or simply have a willingness to learn, we'd love to have your help. Volunteers will gather at the church on a weekend prior to Thanksgiving to assemble the bikes and prepare them for delivery.
This is more than a bike-building project. It's an opportunity to share encouragement, create lasting memories, and help provide a special gift that offers freedom, fun, and adventure to local children.
