Churchwide Service Event: Fighting Hunger Together

On Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 pm, Myers Park Baptist Church invites everyone—children, youth, adults, and seniors—to gather in Heaton Hall for an intergenerational, churchwide service event focused on addressing hunger in our community. We'll fuel the fun with pizza and dessert for all volunteers.

During this hands‑on evening of fellowship and service, we will prepare and package snack bags for Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. These snack bags will be distributed through Title I schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, police officers, and other community partners, ensuring that food reaches children, families, and individuals who need it most. 

This event offers a meaningful opportunity to serve side by side across generations, living out our faith through compassionate action while strengthening connections within our church family. No special skills are required—just willing hands and open hearts. 

All are welcome to participate. Come for the full time or part of the afternoon and be part of this tangible expression of care for our neighbors in Charlotte.
