About the Event
All Church
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent—a time set apart for reflection, prayer, and spiritual renewal. On Wednesday, February 18, you are invited to join us in the sanctuary from noon until 12:45 p.m. for a quiet and informal Ash Wednesday observance.
This open time is designed to offer a peaceful space in the midst of a busy day. Soft music will fill the sanctuary, creating a calm and contemplative atmosphere where you may sit, pray, meditate, or simply rest in stillness. Prayer guides will be available to help shape your time of reflection, whether you stay for a few minutes or the entire time.
The imposition of ashes will be offered as a meaningful symbol of humility, repentance, and our shared humanity—an outward sign of an inward journey as we begin the Lenten season together. All are welcome to participate in whatever way feels most meaningful to you. We hope you will join us for this sacred pause as we reflect, remember, and prepare our hearts for the journey ahead.
Whether you come carrying gratitude, weariness, questions, or hope, you are invited to this sacred pause as we begin the season of Lent together, rooted in honesty, shaped by grace, and held in God’s love.
