At Myers Park Baptist Church, we believe music is a gift meant to be shared—and there is a place for you in our Music Ministry.
Whether you sing or play, read music or learn by ear, prefer classical, gospel, jazz, soul, Broadway, bluegrass, R&B, country, or something entirely your own, we welcome musicians of all ages, experience levels, and styles. You do not need to be a church member, and you do not need to make a weekly commitment to participate. Love to sing but can’t rehearse every week? There’s a place for you.
Played in a garage band that never quite made it out of the garage? Bring it on.
Struggle with stage fright? We’ll walk with you through it.
Think you’re too young—or too seasoned—to sing in the choir? There’s no such thing.
Love karaoke or singing in the shower? You already belong here.
Our Music Ministry is rooted in joy, collaboration, and a shared desire to serve God through music. Wherever you are on your musical journey, we want to help you discover meaningful ways to share your gifts in worship and community.
